Corry spent the first thirty years of his career in the executive search industry. Most of that time was spent as the owner and manager of two successful recruiting firms. When he wanted to change careers to become a therapist, Corry enrolled in a master's program to become a licensed mental health counselor. Excited about the change and motivated by the tremendous lack of access to quality mental healthcare, he decided to start up NYMHC right away, rather than waiting years to complete his academic program and clinical hours. As a non-licensed person, Corry runs the “business side” of the practice, which includes everything but the delivery of therapy sessions. Leveraging his skills as a headhunter, he has recruited an impressive team of talented, experienced clinicians and partnered with his old friend, Dan Epstein to own the PLLC that delivers psychotherapy services. In his spare time, Corry enjoys spending time with family, reading and writing fiction, surfing, mountain biking and working out.
